TURN ON THE LIGHT, ILLUMINATES THE DREAM (Education Seminar on LPMP NTT Province)

In celebrating Kartini day and National Education day, LPMP NTT Province cooperated with Dharma Wanita Persatuan LPMP NTT Province held a seminar in LPMP hall on May 06, 2016. The theme of this event was “Nyalakan Pelita, Terangkan Cita-cita” (sub theme: Peran Keluarga dan Masyarakat sebagai Bagian dari Komunitas Pendidikan dalam Memacu Keberhasilan Anak Didik). Seminar that was started on 08.00 o’clock and finished on 16.00 o’clock attended by 160 participants from various elements, such as Dharma Wanita LPMP NTT, Education and Cultural Department of NTT Province, NTT Language office, Kota Raja district, elementary-senior high school supervisor, teachers, and also press.

Sinun Petrus Manuk, the head of NTT Province Education and Cultural Department who opened the seminar on his speech appreciated Dharma Wanita LPMP NTT Province who have initiated education seminar. Manuk stated that education preparation is very important to be done since early stage even since the child still in the womb. Besides that, he added that good communication also must be done in home between parents and their children. That is very important in addressing negative things which come from outside as a result of technological developments.

There were 4 informants on that seminar, including the head of NTT Province Education and Cultural Department, Sinun Petrus Manuk; the head of LPMP NTT Province, Minhajul Ngabidin; chairman of NTT Province PAUD forum, Benediktus Labre; and the head of Sikumana Puskesmas, dr. E. Evalina Corebima.

Prize for the winners of some contests that were held within the scope of LPMP NTT Province also given on that moment. Besides that, there was an embedding pin for the representatives of participants. Representatives of the participants also got souvenir and seminar certificates on that moment.
