UNWIRA KUPANG

POEMS WRITTEN BY IRA LUIK

ATAMBUA 12 SEPTEMBER

Motobuik,

Spending 7 hours from Kupang city

Being brave to take all risks of a road trip

Feeling blue and tired at the same time

It was dark

Nobody was there

There’s only two of us

Yet our passion brings us safely to the destination

Teluk Gurita,

You always bless us everywhere we are

Miles away under the sea

Your inclusion statisfies us

It’s a statue yet fill of a diffrent soul

Dear The Virgin Mary, we praise You.

Motaain Indonesia,

Locating in the corner of Timor island

Separated by a big iron fence

And a bridge

Cointaing the symbol of each country

Red white for Indonesia

Black, red, yellow, and white for neighboring country

The Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste

Good luck for these countries!
