The result of OSN (Olimpiade Sains Nasional) at Kupang
Regency level which has followed by 643 SMA students finally announced. The OSN
was held in SMPN 1 Kupang Timur on February 18, 2016 ago and the lessons which
were tested in that competition are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology,
Computer, Astronomy, Economics, Geography and Earth lesson. In that time, every
student represented their own school and the students who pass each of the
lessons tested will attend the Olympiad at the Provincial level.
Based on the data gained, there are 27 SMA students
passed that competition and will attend the competition at Provincial level. The
school that sends the most examinees to the provincial level is SMAN 1 Fatuleu.
The result showed that there are 4 students of SMAN 1 Fatuleu will attend the
OSN in provincial level. The four students are Melania Ado, Clara Maria
Ximenes, Reynaldo A. Lewulelek, and Ferdiyanto A. Taolin. The head master of
SMAN 1 Fatuleu, Drs. Ambrosius Pan appreciated all the students who can pass
the Olympiad at Kupang Regency level. Besides that he also thanked all the
teachers who have guided the students.
In addition, SMAN 1 Kupang Barat will send 2 students
to attend the Olympiad at provincial level. The other schools such as SMAN 1
Kupang Timur, SMAN 3 Kupang Timur, and SMAN 1 Amarasi Barat will send 1 student
to attend that Olympiad. Good luck! (*)
